Hey there, I am trying to gain as much info on Harbin as possible. Yes, I have read much on the Ice and Snow Festival, the Russian style buildings, and european feel throughout the city. Is there anyone who is or used to live in Harbin, that could tell me about the nightlife scene, is there even a scene there?
I have read much on the nightlife, and have heard of Russian/Foreigner/Chinese bar brawls, and beatings, is it really that rough there? Not that I am a piss tank, or a man whore, but are there any places in Harbin where one can go and dance, or get a drink in a pub atmosphere, mingle with women, ect?
I used to live in Seoul, and I know every city and country is different, but Seoul had it all, bars, pubs, clubs, places to have a good time.
I hope Harbin has something to offer in this department, teaching all day, it is nice to go out and about from time to time.
