I need ideas for an English 'Carnival'
By:Howard Zinn, Historian

Hello. I'm trying to put together an English language carnival to be held at an English camp.

One idea I'm toying with is a bingo game. I could use numbers like an actual bingo game. This will help with listening skills. Winners will have to be able to understand spoken numbers. Also, the winner of each game must call out his/her numbers to the other participants before being declared the winner.

Another spin on bingo is using words instead of numbers. When I call out each word, the participants will have to use their ears if they are going to have a shot at winning.

Anyone else have any ideas for a carnival?
