I'd suggest you bring a computer from home. I came to China from the UK a few weeks ago, via Dubai. They had a quick look at my laptop in Dubai, but not China. I have had a good look around many electrical stores here, most O.S's seem to be in Chinese, also, the majority are pirate copies. I wouldn't trust a guarantee from here as far as I could throw it. Also the prices are pretty much the same.
