I've been married to a Chinese woman for 4 years and know about the green card situation. I never expected the process to be easy. Have you tried for a card yet?

My passport expired about 3 years ago and, when I replaced it, it seemed a good idea at the time to destroy the old one. I now have doubts about being able to 'prove' I will have been here for the 5 years of my marriage.

Any tips? Are they going to make this really difficult?
