When I first came to China 4 months ago I got a job through William. Made me so eager to get here. Looked forward to starting work beginning Sept 2005. Relieved I had a job & accommodation to come to. 1st problem - no-one met me at the airport as promised! He said they slept in! Had appointment with school I was supposed to be employed at & viewed apartment. Great, happy. Got over 1st problem. On my way out there & got phone call to say no job no apartment - not enough students! In the same breath he offered me another job at a kindy with higher pay but couldn't provide accommodation. Strange city, confused, angry - how would i find an apartment with no help! So I told him what I thought & how I felt & never will I contact him again. Wrong. Tonight, I tried to contact him re another job he's offering in Beijing. Thought i would forget about the hassles I've had with him - get over it I thought. My e-mail didn't go through. Then I discover this site!!!!! Well, well, well. What can I say. I won't be trying again!!! I've written all his alias addresses down to refer to while I'm looking for that great elusive position in Bejing with a reliable agency. Sometimes I feel we have to listen to those who write negative feelings/thoughts in these sites. It's very scary out there - more so than home I feel. It's all very well people saying "don't take notice of the negative, go try for yourself". But when you have a dream & money is involved we are extremely vulnerable. I sincerely wish you well in your hunt. Don't give up. Ask MANY questions, no matter how silly you think they are! There are good agencies out there. Just takes time to find one. Do research!!!!!!
