OMG those scammers are still around! Really glad that you didn't get scammed by them. We were approached by them too. Seems they've changed their text very slightly, but the situation / story is the same.

If you can, report the fraud to their e-mail provider (are they still using yahoo?). We reported it and I think that address was shut down. Doesn't seem to stop them, but it does slow them down.
