There is always someone on the internet to take the 'stop whining crybaby' position and imagines themselves giving a smarten-up reality check. Its for their own ego.

In fact, plenty of younger people had problems and plenty of non-native speakers were getting favours and good stuff that should have gone to full-time employees. No, people do not get paid appropriately and yes many companies pay people before holidays and weekends and no you aren't reading posts from people who expect AMERICAN standards and now you need to remind them this is CHINA. Also, its not very CHINESE to disrespect older teachers. Which is more the complaint here than anything.

But what I'd be interested in knowing is how much past 9 months did you make it? To the end of your contract? and you renewed with them??
