Motivation Tips

Gratitude and Beyond
By:Nancy Heimstra

It is early morning and I am enjoying the stillness before another busy day. It is a time for reflection in the busy holiday season. The traffic is heavier, the stores are crowded, and there is a buzz in all the chaos. It won’t be long until thoughts are turned to the New Year and what it will bring.

In this time of reflection, I am able to connect deeply with the overwhelming abundance I experience every day. I too can get caught up in what is not quite right yet. I could focus on getting more coaching clients, or creating more products or whatever I think may be lacking. Yet there is this part of me in this moment that recognizes in that deep knowing part of me that I have all that I need and so much more.

I read my email and cherish the newsletters that bring me new information or affirmation of my beliefs. I feel connected with the persons that send them, because I know we are all here at this time to make a difference. In reality we are all saying the same thing. We are becoming more aware each day of how we do create our reality. We are all seeking happiness and peace. We are all connected in this exciting journey that is occurring.

What are you grateful for today? How can you steal a few moments during this busy time and reflect on how blessed you truly are? I invite you to take a deep breath and notice, just notice how it is all around you. Breathe it in and say “Thank you”.

My sense of connection moves to the awareness of how every need is met. I was in a place yesterday of lack and doubt and realized that I was not using my imagination or visualizing what I do want. My focus was out of alignment. I was lucky enough to have my session with my coach last night and she guided me back to my source of creativity and imagination and I felt the shift. In my newsletters this morning, there were more than a few that contained tips for visualizing and creating.

Do you get caught up in thinking that you must manifest big things? Not that there is anything wrong with thinking big! Do you take inventory and only focus on what has not arrived yet? Really look around for the evidence of how your needs are met very quickly. Are you feeling down, or stressed? Just focus on asking to feel better and then watch how you get a call from a friend that raises your spirits. Watch how you are presenting with magical little gifts that are able to transport you.

Take precious time for you this busy season and see how you are abundant beyond belief and so blessed with all the little things that make life joyous. Happy Holidays to you!
