Teaching small kids in Thailand.

How hard is it? Do they pay enough to survive on?
Do I need TEFL or TESOL? Is there a need for teachers
for 6 to 10 year old students?

I was teaching a private beginner's courses in a mixed class of 14 to 47 years old in Laos.
All in one class. It was a fun and a challenge at the same time. I don't have
any certificate of any kind, and I wonder if I can land a job teaching the little
ones without a TEFL. I don't think I want to teach intermediate and up,
since I don't have the expertise and teenagers would drive me nuts. For sure.

I'd be grateful for any info you might have or willing to share.
The good, the bad and the ugly too.
I'm a Native speaker from US, and I just don't want to go back to the
'Land of No Hope and Home of the Lies'. I also have a computer background
(web design), but so does everybody else these days it seems. :) I don't know
if that would open some more doors, but I would guess it would.

Many Thanks. Joe
