I find I must TOTALLY agree with my friend E_S_L in Asia's evaluation of the ultra-succinct methodology by which you attempt to deal with the often detailed comments of others on this board, particularly those who have a serious bone to pick with you! Granted, you are but a dilettante in the field of English education, your supposed communication "skills" should have, by this relatively late stage of the game, achieved a slightly more advanced stage than the "ugh's" and "ah's" you've been ever-so-freely distributing on this board for months under the guise of "intelligent responses!" (witty retorts?)

Perhaps we've all been focusing on the WRONG persons for burger-flipping activities. Ms. Xi, YOUR normal compendiousness and terse issuance of orders could certainly support some exciting front-of-the-store activity at ... say ... a very busy Los Angeles/Chinatown Jack-in-the-Box facility, to wit: "Your order." ... "Number 3, pick up!" ... (Customer thanks you) YOU reply, "Ugh-huh." (Customer asks if there is a rest room facility on the premises) YOU reply, "Ugh-huh." (Customer asks if the double cheeseburger costs under $2) YOU respond, "Ugh-huh." (The Boss asks you if you want your cheque) YOU respond, "Yeah." Hell, Ms. Xi, you're wasting your precious time on this board, not to mention in the ESL teaching racket! That funny clown NEEDS you ... hey, and at a fabulous $6.75 an hour! That must be at least 4 times more than what you're currently earning, wherever the hell that might be! Tell me if I can assist you in effecting this exciting change of venue. You know, you've actually given me a terrific idea for a super-exciting story ... "Laconism for Lunch." Gee, thanks.

Have a nice day.
