Once again Davis Foreign Language of Tianjin, China is posting ads for teachers. THEY ARE NOT A LEGAL COMPANY! They are not legally allowed to operate a school and they CANNOT hire foreigners.
John Davis is an Australian ex-pat who cannot return to Australia and along with his Tianjin born wife, Angela, recruit unsuspecting foreigners to work in schools 2 hours outside of the city. They promise high wages but only pay half of what they promise. When teachers go to the authorities to complain about being cheated, they are threatened with fines for working illegally.
Several teachers have been left stranded here wothout being paid and have had to ask their embassies for assistance.
The authorities are corrupt here and won't help foreigners. BEWARE DAVIS LANGUAGE TRAINING!!!
