Regency College is BRITISH COUNCIL approved. The school has grown rapidly and is an exciting place to study English, being one of the newest and most forward thinking English Colleges in Brighton. We are members of AIAS and a registered ILIC examination centre. The education and welfare of our students are our highest priorities.

The Programmes
All our courses are designed for students 16+ years and are taught by professionally qualified teachers in groups of 12 students maximum per class. We also offer individual student counselling.
General English: you may join the course any Monday to improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. All Levels, Beginner, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced, with a maximum of 12 students per class.
University Pre-sessional: for intermediate level students and above only, this programme consists of one academic year, 32 weeks September to June, with lessons 22 hours per week. IELTS preparation, University placement advice, 12 students maximum per class.

Examination Preparation
Examination successes can help you get a job or a University place. These courses, for intermediate level students and above, focus on improving your examination skills. The exams taught include, IELTS, Cambridge (FCE, CAE, CPE), TOEIC , TOEFL, BEC. 12 students maximum class size.
Business English: improve your business English in a professional environment and take business examinations. Suitable for intermediate level students and above only. 12 students maximum per class.
Specialist Courses: we offer specialist courses such as English for Medicine, English for Law, and English for Tourism. We also design courses to meet the specific needs of individual students or small groups.

Teachers
We believe that our teachers are our most important resource. They are all motivated and committed to teaching and providing the best for their students. All our teachers are qualified in English Language teaching. They also benefit from an ongoing development programme to further improve their teaching skills.

Methodology
Our teaching methodology is learner centred. Lessons are focused on the students who are expected to contribute to the lessons and actively participate in the language learning process.

Accommodation
Host Families: stay with a typical English family. This is a good opportunity to practise your English outside the classroom. All our families are friendly and easily accessible from the school. You can choose a single or shared room.
Hotels: Brighton offers a range of accommodation options from economical Bed and Breakfast (B&B) to luxury hotels. We will find a hotel to suit your budget.
Private flats and houses: 6 months minimum stay
Student residencies: available in the summer only

Brighton and neighbouring Hove (population 250,000) are renowned world-wide as an ideal location to follow a study programme. Situated on England's south coast, the towns enjoy a mild and temperate climate. Brighton, often known as 'London by the Sea', has a friendly cosmopolitan atmosphere with a wealth of leisure, sporting and shopping facilities.

Brighton has a large British and international student population. There are two Universities in the city which give the city a cosmopolitan feel. There are many restaurants in Brighton offering English, Chinese, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and Turkish food.
