School:Bell Switzerland (also: Treacher Training)

In Geneva we provide language learning services to meet a variety of individual learning needs: from pre-school education to communication skills for professionals, in English, French, German, Japanese, Italian or Spanish, through one-to-one tuition, small groups or traditional classes, in the classroom, at home or at the workplace, we will seek the best solution for YOUR language training needs.

Teacher Training: For many years, Bell Switzerland has been a leading English teacher training centre in French speaking Switzerland. We run internationally recognized courses leading to a certificate from either the University of Cambridge ESOL certificate or the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Our courses will help you develop your skills whether you are looking for a first qualification in EFL teaching or seeking a specialised qualification in teaching English for business.

Whether employed by a school or working as a freelance, additional training will certainly add value to your chances of continuing employment in an increasingly demanding and competitive job market.

Frank Bell founded the first Bell Language School in Cambridge in 1955. His mission was to promote international understanding by providing high quality English language training to students all over the world.

In 1972, he established an educational charity - the Bell Educational Trust (now trading as Bell International). Its main aims remain: to provide language education, mainly in English, for adult students and young learners; to train teachers of English; and to offer language learning and teacher training experiences that will promote international understanding and intercultural exchange. The Trust has no shareholders, and money from fees is reinvested in developing and improving the services and facilities for students, and the worldwide services that are offered.

Bell staff and staff in Bell partner schools include among their numbers some of the most expert language teachers, trainers, educational managers, consultants and materials writers in the world, and Bell staff work closely with national and international organisations involved in language teaching worldwide.

Today, Bell is an international training organisation with three intensive training centres in the UK, Bell Centres UK, a thriving Young Learner operation, several wholly-owned subsidiaries and more than 20 partners throughout Europe and in Asia, Global Partnerships. This makes Bell one of the largest British-owned providers of English language and teacher training courses.
