Our English school in Dublin offers full-time, part-time, and private English courses. Our full-time General English course runs Monday-Friday 9.:20am-13:00. Evening English classes generally take place two nights per week between 19:15-21:15. Private individual or group courses can take place at any time suitable to teacher and student. Our English courses are designed to be flexible so that students can join at the beginning of any week. All our English courses begin with a level test to enable us to teach the student at the correct level and in the correct group. There is a special focus in all our language courses on getting our students to speak their chosen language, as this is often considered to be the most challenging by students. Our evening English courses cater in addition for students studying for Cambridge exams such as the First Certificate (FCE) and Cambridge Advanced. All our English students can avail of tea/coffee facilities, internet and wi-fi access, aswell as advice and information on working and touring in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin and Ireland in general. We also offer a lively cultural programme each week with: a free talk on some aspect of Irish culture; a social excursion guided by a school teacher to cultural centres, museums and of course bars; and an invite to join teachers and staff for coffee in a local bar each Friday after class.

Our foreign language courses are mainly evening courses with classes in Spanish and Italian. The classes generally take place one night per week over 10 week terms but private individual or group tuition is also available in these languages aswell as in French and German. There are 4 or 5 different levels of each language available and students are welcome to have their level assessed by one of our qualified and experienced native speaking teachers. The main focus of the courses is on successfully speaking the languages but grammar and writing skills are also covered. As most students work during the day and the courses take place in the evenings, our teachers aim to keep the classes as lively, fun and interesting as possible.
