Paris, also known as the City of Lights, is one of the world's most popular tourist destinations. By Air - There are two main airports that serve Paris - Charles de Gaulle International Airport and Orly International Airport. Charles de Gaulle International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe. There are three terminals, all of which are connected by a free shuttle train. To get to Paris from here, you will have to head over to the train stations in Terminal Two or Terminal Three. From these stations, there are various express train services to Paris which leave every hour. Train journeys last for about an hour, although it may be even shorter than that. There is also a bus service connecting all terminals to central Paris; however, traffic conditions tend to get pretty congested during peak hours and this will affect the duration of the journey.

Orly International Airport is located south-west of Paris. It is an older airport serving mainly Air France and other European international careers. From this airport, you can take the OrlyBus service which will drop you off at Métro Denfert-Rochereau. The ticket is very reasonably priced and the trip will take you only about forty minutes. You can also take Bus 285, which will drop you off at Métro Villejuif - Louis Aragon. These tickets are even cheaper and the service more frequent. Those who prefer train travel may take the Orlyval light rain which goes to the Charles de Gaulle International Aiport before transferring to Paris. This will take slightly longer and cost more.

By Train - There are numerous ways to get to Paris by train, especially if you are coming from other parts of Europe. There are also a variety of train services, from luxury trains, to overnight trains, to express trains. In general, you will be able to get direct train services to Paris from most parts of Europe. The main train stations are as followed: Gare du Nord, Gare d'Austerlitz, Gare de l'Est, Gare de Lyon, Gare St Lazare and Gare Montparnasse. These stations cater to trains coming from specific places, so do be sure to confirm which station you will be arriving it.

By Bus - It is also fairly easy to travel to Paris from other European cities by bus. The main bus service would be Eurolines. However, if you are travelling from other parts of France, there are a number of local bus services that you can take as well.
