Top Ways To Evaluate Your Boss
By:Silas Reed

Now it is very difficult to find ways to evaluate your boss. It is thing that everyone wants but only a few of them can do in reality. Actually only a few of them know the tricks about it. The biggest problem at your work place is that your boss evaluates you and not the other way round. However there are many a time that you are asked to fill up a feedback form and then you gap in the zero. Let us see how you can do so.

In the first place the difference between a good and a bad boss is that the former motivates to excel in your work, the latter demotivates you. In that case you need to check what exactly the approach of your boss is. In preliminary stages you may not be able to understand that. A deeper observation will tell you all. For that you have to develop an eye for detail.

Okay it is very east to criticize others, but you should know your worth as well. You should be capable of performing your own duties properly. Only then you can find ways to evaluate your boss. This is because work ethics are not limited to anyone.

Another thing that you can do is ask for your feedback from your boss on a regular basis. You can discuss your own areas of strengths and weaknesses. You should try and work on your weaknesses as well. This will add to your interaction with your boss.

Then there are some other ways of assess your boss like you can also see whether he encourages his team members honestly or not. Again a good boss will but a bad boss may not even care for that. Observe is he manipulative or not and is he always criticizing his team for something or the other?

Then you also need to observe how he controls his anger and frustration. You can scrutinize his behavior on days when he fails to do certain things. You can also have a good idea from the way he acts on the failure of his team members.

Once again you need to study how he helps his juniors. If he is good at it then he will be guiding and training his juniors in every possible way. A good boss will always look after his team members and he will help them grow in the trade.

See how responsible he is. You can also examine that from his working style and principles. In simple what can be said is that ways to evaluate your boss need not be a lengthy procedure but you have to be quite an observant.
