It is good to see your motivation to make classes very interesting for them.

The way older people learn is somewhat different from the way young people learn. If you are teaching in Afghanistan, my question to you is whether your students are able to read and write the Roman script (their native script is Arabic with some additional characters commonly not found in the Arabic script). If not, you should perhaps concentrate on oral language skills first. Depending on the their oral skill level in English, adjust your lessons to their level. If they are absolute beginners, start with simple things like counting numbers, greetings, asking names of the other people in class and introducing themselves, etc. Progress slowly from there.

One possible way to do that in an interesting manner for your students is that you must make them participate actively in basic English communication. Possibly you could do that by role play.

Then, the procedure would look a bit like this:
1- Introduce the words and linguistic structures you will need to them and explain the meaning(s).
2- Make them read and pronounce them (if they can't read the Roman script, use visual aids; for example).
3 - Then use role plays where they can apply immediately what they have learnt before. You could make student A point at/ask student B, for example: "How many fingers are these?" and show three fingers; student B should then reply "three fingers". More or less the same procedure for introducing yourself and ask the name of another person.

Proceed in a similar manner for other topics.

I would like to be more specific but unfortunately you have not told me too much about your students; so I cannot be more specific either.

Anyway, good luck and best wishes!
