Travel, Teach, Live in China
To Lilian: Hi, I am a tropical brunett Venezuelan woman. I graduated as an English Teacher in 2004. I have been working for a well known English Institute for two months and a half. During the last 3 weeks they have hired three native speakers. All of them are now full time teachers and I am still a part time one. I do not know if the can be better teachers just for being native but what I know is that I can speak two languages very well. I feel proud of beign a non native speaker who can teach very good English. I wish they could see more than just a blond face and native accent. Sometimes I have seen many native speakers having grammar mistakes and using slang and nobody cares. What is really important: to say: "I have a native English teacher" or "I have a very good English Teacher"?????
