I've joined this one late and my comments are related to the visa issue. Due to the Olympics i wouldn't advise anybody to go over on anything other than a z visa, as all visas issued outside of China are aren't transferable i.e. the go over on a tourist visa ploy won't work anymore. I have no idea how long this will last, though i don't know how most schools will get any teachers given the bureaucracy that is involved
