Travel in Australia and New Zealand

Tour New Zealand in 2 Weeks Or More
By:Flavio Alvarenga

If you are planing to come to New Zealand and are not in Australia, chances are that you are far...very far away!

So I do not recommend coming to New Zealand for just 1 week. Most of the tourists we have in our tours around the country stay for a short period of time and regret that as soon as they touch ground and discover the multitude of tours available. Most of them arrive in Auckland coming from a different destination, such as Australia for example, and stay here from 2 to 7 days. They should stay for at least 2 weeks!

So why does it happen so often? The reason for that is simple: tourists do not know how big New Zealand is! Yes, it will take you some time do visit the main attractions in the country!
So this article is about giving you a fair idea of what you can accomplish within your time line here in New Zealand. Let's see:

1 week: You would be better of staying in Auckland and going for short day tours
1 week to 10 days: You would have the right time to visit not in a rush Auckland, the central North Island and finishing your tour in Wellington
10 days to 2 weeks You would finish your North Island tour and still have some time to discover Christchurch in the South Island
2 weeks to 20 days 20 days will give you a good taste of what both islands have to offer.

But if you do have a good amount of time in your next holidays in New Zealand, come here for at least 1 month! It's guaranteed that you will have an unforgettable trip!
