5 Tips To Writing Articles That Connect With Readers And Have Them Click Through
By:Matthew Robert Payne

TIP 1 Educate someone.

As far as I know Jesus Christ doesnt get royalties on the Bible. But in His sermons we find wisdom that still has people simply read His acts and spoken words and fall to their knees in prayer and cry out for Him to be their saviour.

Jesus didnt come to earth to sell anything. He came to improve something. With one billion people in the world no matter what you think of Christians you have to admit that laws based on the teachings and the insights of Jesus have made the world a better place for some.

So you have something to sell, and you are writing an article to get someone to follow a link back to you site, well dont be afraid to put a whole book worth of information up on this ezine with articles.

Youre an expert; you really know your business. Dont be afraid. Educate people. Even though I have the words in the Bible I still search for more information and seek out good teachers of the Bible. So too with you. If you educate your reader they will still want to know more and even if your article answers all their questions well you have done the world a little good.

I cant tell you how many bookmarks I have on my computer here of some of the authors on this site, but one thing in common they all have is they are not shy in educating me, and one person actually suggested a service that I will need and I will spend hundreds of dollars on gladly.

TIP 2 Get out of your head and into your heart.

Being creative doesnt come from your head and careful thinking as much as it comes out of your heart and emotions. Dont worry yourself about how you are going to write just sit down and talk to us from your heart.

Think of the reader as though they were already a client of yours and you were having a coffee with them and they asked you a question.

Simply sit down at your computer and answer that clients question. I have read hundreds of hours on search engine optimisation and yet one day when I really want to fire up a site with a really well optimised site I will simply pay a professional. When you write your article put your heart into it and share with people from your heart as though they are already a valued client and you watch, theyll click through to your website a and possibly become one.

TIP 3 Get personal with them.

When I write I mostly pour my heart into my articles. I am excited that now I generate about 1000 readers per week to my articles and soon I will have a published book with a lot of them in it and my regular readers will start to buy it.

See thats personal.

My wife left me for another man and broke my heart and through that I have written articles on divorce and about 3000 readers have read them and I have given some great heartfelt advice in it. Dont be afraid to tell stories that are personal to illustrate your points. If a person connects to you through your personal stories they have more chance of wanting to bless you with their business rather then your competitor.

Try and think of being able to illustrate your points with a story. Let them know how you think, not only what you know.

TIP 4 Be honest with yourself

If you have no interest in the readers save converting the readers to sales perhaps you might want to be honest about that and change your attitude.

As I said before Jesus didnt get paid. I am not getting paid to write this to you and seeing as most of my books audience will be people interested in the Christian faith this article isnt even in the best subject area for me to spend my time.

TIP 5 Ask a friend you know that knows your topic to give you some feedback.

I have two friends that have given me feedback on my articles and between them have read over a hundred of them which is many hours at the computer screen. Both of them want to buy my book, not because they are my friends but because they want to be able to highlight it and make notes in the margin as they say my Christian articles are great articles, one has said profound.

When you get good feedback off your friends youll see that you are a good writer and youll have the confidence to write from your heart and do a very good job.

I have many articles on spiritual matters, take the time to read the list of them from the expert author link down the bottom if you are a Christian. You should find a few to read.

May God bless your efforts.

Take care

Matthew

Ps. Remember let the reader get something for free and build a relationship with them and soon they will be clicking though and emailing you.
