Start Writing - It Will Get Easier
By:Eric Hartwell

One of the problems with writing is that if you dont get on and do it, then you stagnate just thinking about it. Writing is an art, sure, but it is not an art that is so difficult to master that it is beyond the average person. In fact, many people of all persuasions have successfully come to the realization that they are able to write quite fluently and eloquently on a whole matter of subjects.

The problem often resides with the feeling of inadequacy even before the first word that is written. Yet once a budding writer has something in print then these feelings can easily be swayed. It is easy to become overawed abroad by the writings of others and to believe that they are in a position of supreme experience, skill, or enterprise. Some of them, maybe, but the vast majority are not. They are simply writing about things they either know about or love. But there is not even any need to do that.

Successful writing can start with any idea that you could possibly have; the important thing is just to start writing and getting things done on paper or on the computer screen. Before long, you will be writing paragraph after paragraph with little, if any, effort. It is amazing how thoughts and feelings flow once you start writing. And as for feedback, there is usually very little to worry about. If people read your articles or other written material and they dont like it, they will simply ignore it and move on to something else. If they do like it, they may very well contact you or publish your work, with appropriate commission, elsewhere. With time, the easy-go writing will improve, your speed will increase, and you will become more successful in your skills.
