Website Niche Ideas - How to Find Them

If you are trying to find some good website niche ideas, you may believe that all of them have been taken. This is not so, you just need to dig a bit deeper and broaden your thinking. Here is a list of 5 ideas to help you possibly locate a niche for your new website.

1. In your home: The wall coloring, the drapes, knickknacks that you have on your shelves. Look through the closets, dressers, in the kids room or closets, basement, throw rugs, art work, etc.. What have you purchased to make it personalized? Other people may be also looking for the same or similar items.

2. In your yard: Does your garden produce the best fruits and vegetables on the block? Your lawn is so green that it puts a golf course to shame? Is your flower beds the envy of the neighborhood? What's your secret? Do you use special seeds, fertilizer of your own mixture?

3. Unique objects: Do you have a collection of unique items? or Do you make something unique or know someone who does?

4. Unique buyer of gifts: Are you the person that finds all the neat gifts from the Internet for birthdays, holidays and special events?

5. Pets: Do you pamper your pet? Have sweaters for them? Special food for them or even toys? Do you celebrate their birthday?

There are so many possible ideas that you can find, but sometimes it takes stepping back and looking around you. Your niches could be right in front of your face but you may miss it as you are looking at too big of a picture. Surfing the internet could also help you with trying to locate a starting place or asking family or friends what kind of information they would like to find on the Internet.
