Internet Tips

My Email Box Is Full!
By:Ena Clewes

I have just been reading through my email this morning, it is 8am here and I thought I had better tackle it now, before I get started to my REAL interest in the day's work.
I seem to receive countless offers from people I have never heard of, offering me advice on how to make money on the internet. Now, I am not against making money in a legitimate fashion, but I do object to being fed all this hype about this new scheme that will make me millions of dollars in one month, who believes this stuff?
I have found that it takes a lot of time and effort to make even a little money working with my legitimate web sites, creating customer satisfaction and hopefully, repeat business. Even when the offers seem to be genuine, there is always a catch. "Join for Free" the sales letter says and when you follow up and sign up for this free information, there is always a catch. If you just upgrade you will be able to get the complete offer, and not just a small part of it. Why don't theses sites just tell you up front what they are doing and be honest about it, and not try to drag you in with false hopes and promises.
Many people on the internet do not have the money to waste on these trial offers, they need good honest advice, and I am sure would be happier paying for that, than being led up the proverbial garden path to nowhere.
How many "Gurus" are out there? It seems that they all get together to promote each others products and this makes it difficult to believe any of them. Oh yes! I know they make a gazillion dollars doing what they do, but on whose backs are they making it, YOURS!!!!
Many of them suggest you call them if you have any problems, have you tried to do this ? I have, and I never received any reply that directly addressed my comments. I have recieved a "one liner" which was of absolutely no help.
I am in business on the internet and try to give my clients an honest answer to their problems, as it does not seem fair to do otherwise, even if it means I might make quick money. My reputation matters to me too much to trick people into thinking they are getting free information and then slip in the small print ( or large) to add on the extras.
I know there must be honest people out there in cyberspace who do care about what they are doing, but please don't keep telling me that I can have a mansion, a new car and a life of luxury by just following their plan. It takes a lot more than that for the 'man in the street' who can only spend so much time at their computer, to make a living on the internet.
Can't we get back to the days of honest trading, integrity and caring about our fellow man, and not giving up our lives( and our souls) to the almighty dollar.
