About Me

I started teaching English casually, to friends and acquaintances, about five years ago. While helping them out, I discovered I loved teaching. I decided to make it my full-time job about a year ago, after gaining my TEFL certificate, and I teach one-to-one both on and offline.

My other certificates include a Cambridge English Teachers Grammar Course, Teaching Young Learners and Teaching with Limited Resources.

I have taught learners of all levels, including children, in a variety of different environments.

About My Lessons

My lessons make use of lots of different materials, such as videos, audio recordings, songs, articles and textbooks, so we can build all your skills. I have experience helping students prepare for the IELTS exam as well as others, and I also offer an essay correction service if writing is your main focus.

I offer speaking practice and formal lessons. Speaking practice is for those who want to focus almost entirely on their spoken English. We can talk about any topic you want to improve your speaking about. I'll correct your mistakes and teach you any new vocabulary that comes up. The lessons are very informal. Standard lessons are more intensive - I can help you with reading, writing and listening as well as speaking, set you homework and help you prepare for exams.

Lessons can be as short as 15 minutes or as long as 120, and I offer package discounts if you pay for more than one lesson at once.
