Online school based in Hong Kong

Swoosh English is an online face to face English tutoring website and we are looking to recruit more teachers to be part of it.
The website has students primarily from Hong Kong initially. The majority of students are between the ages of 5 and 21 years old, in addition to adults. Further down the line the students will be a wide mix of all ages.

Teachers will be conducting mainly one-to-one lessons and small groups on our own customized, easy to use browser - based program. A virtual whiteboard, e-Learning software and a wide range of teaching resources and syllabuses will be available for teachers to use with students. Flexibility will be given to teachers to use their own ideas and materials also in lessons.

A competitive salary will be offered above the market rate for ESL teachers in the UK. The lessons can be run from your own home based upon your availability, so no transportation is required, making it highly convenient for those people who are students or have other jobs. A high speed broadband connection is a necessity.

We are looking for teachers to begin classes in May and can commit to between 5-10 hours per week and maybe more.

Eligibility

- Have teaching experience and a CELTA or a TEFL certificate. Other experience will be considered.
- Be outgoing, fun and confident and have the ability to create rapport with students
- Have a keen interest in helping students improve their English.
- Be willing to work two or three weekday mornings and/or weekends
- Have a fast and stable internet connection.
- Available to meet for a Skype interview from 18th April 2015.
- Have a DBS (CRB) check certificate to be legally able to work with children.
