THE COURSE
The aim of the 4 Week 190 hour TESOL course in La Paz, Bolivia is to thoroughly prepare you for teaching EFL in any overseas environment. You will be able to prepare lessons for all age groups and levels and feel confident when selecting materials and activities. Equipped with a variety of techniques and methodologies, you will be a positive and resourceful teacher. Our 190 hour accredited onsite TESOL course will consist of both classroom theory, grammar training, observation of trained ESL teachers as well as teaching your own classes to real English language students. Your practical teaching hours will be observed and you will be graded on different aspects of your teaching performance, and receive an overall grade for the lesson. This practical side of the course will enable you to learn from first-hand experience. It will equip you with the techniques and teaching tools necessary to become a versatile TEFL / TESOL teacher and deal with a range of different teaching situations and environments when teaching English abroad.

Before you arrive we will reserve your accomodation, airport pick-up and are here to answer any pre-arrival questions you might have. During the course you will receive constant feedback and mentoring by your trainer and once you have finsihed your course we are on hand to help you with job hunting information.

The Institute
Instituto Exclusivo, where you will take your course, is located in the central and lively neighbourhood of Sopocachi which is home to many cafes, restaurants, bars and parks. As the world’s highest capital at 13,000 feet, La Paz is a unique and beautiful place from which to explore Bolivia’s diverse regions, or relax in the comfortably temperate climate and affordable cost of living in the capital.
