If you are keen to land a job teaching English in Vietnam, you will need internationally recognised TESOL, TEFL or CELTA certification to gain employment with a reputable school or Language Centre – and to know what to do when you start work. The Australia-Vietnam Skills & Education group (AVSE-TESOL) offers an Australian Government accredited and internationally recognised TESOL in Vietnam program at 3 locations – Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Nha Trang. We have ambitious plans to take our Australian Government accredited TESOL course to other cities in Vietnam and neighbouring countries in Southeast Asia. Watch this space for further details.

Our ‘home base’ is Go Vap District in Ho Chi Minh City, which is located about 25 minutes by taxi from the downtown area. We employ more than 20 people – Vietnamese, foreigners and a couple of others who are trying to work out where they fit in given their passion for this truly wonderful part of the world.

Our TESOL in Vietnam program is all about providing skills and internationally recognised certification for aspiring English language teachers of all ages and backgrounds including people who are not native English speakers. Interestingly, around 30% of people who enrol in our TESOL in Vietnam course in Ho Chi Minh City have English as a 2nd or 3rd language. The TESOL in Vietnam course at AVSE-TESOL gives an in-depth understanding of how to teach English as a second language.
