Michigan English Assessments Inc. is a SEC-registered organization which approved purpose is to provide English assessments and training services. It promotes and markets in the Philippines international standards of English proficiency assessments in the mold of TOEFL and IELTS. For listening and reading, it uses the Spectrum Academic English Test of Lidget Green, Inc., California, USA. For speaking and writing, it tests International Test of English Proficiency of Boston Educational Services, California, USA.

It offers programs and courses related to English which are as follows: Grammar; Accent Modification Course; Conversational English; Writing Made Simple; TESOL Competency Course. It has a consortium with Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute for Master of Arts in Instructional Development major in TESOL.

This course is designed to develop knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students to teach English to speakers of other languages, with verified advanced English proficiency level, and spoken English expressed with neutral accent or near-native sound of speech, molding them to be English teachers with international standard of competence.

This course is a 200-hour program including the 40-hour Supervised Teaching Practice (STP) delivered by blended or alternative modes of independent study, online, and face-to-face instruction.

Graduates may proceed to an M.A. degree in Instructional Development major in TESOL with all modules getting academic credits, in consortium with Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute, the degree granting institution approved by the Commission on Higher Education.
