Teaching House San Diego runs the University of Cambridge CELTA (the Certificate in English Language Teaching), the most widely accepted TESOL program in the world. Teaching House has developed a very strong CELTA course and produced virtually every conceivable document, assignment, input session handout and teaching practice point that we could think of.

San Diego -- California's second largest city -- is located on the Pacific Ocean, just a few miles north of Mexico. It is famed for its beautiful bay, close proximity to beaches and its year-round temperate climate. San Diego is a young, environmentally-conscious, vibrant city of inhabitants who love to take advantage of the city's many cafes, bars and hip nightclubs. The beautiful beaches and well-maintained parks offer outdoor adventure and relaxation all year round.

The course is four weeks long. The 4-week course is very intensive and requires a full-time commitment. In addition to class time, you can expect to spend a part of most evenings and at least one day over the weekend working independently on lesson planning and course assignments. Cambridge ESOL recommends dedicating a minimum of 20-25 hours a week outside of the course to this work. 100% attendance is required. Employment during the course and very long commutes are strongly discouraged. A clear schedule for four weeks is the best approach to take.
