Cambridge ESOL CELTA
The Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is the most widely recognized qualification for teaching ESL or EFL (TEFL/TESL). It has a very high reputation due to its challenging expectations and thorough curriculum. The CELTA Certificate is often considered a minimum requirement for employment as an English language teacher in language-teaching institutions in Montreal, in Canada, and abroad. CELTA candidates train to become English language teachers to speakers of English as a second and/or foreign language. ILSC-Montreal welcomes CELTA applicants from all over the world and from a variety of backgrounds, with or without TEFL/TESL experience. The course is also helpful to those who are already in the profession but who have no formal TESL/TEFL qualification. The CELTA qualification is recognized by both TESL Canada and Languages Canada.

ILSC Montreal
ILSC-Montreal has been running the Cambridge ESOL CELTA program since 2003. The school is in a newly renovated building which offers computer facilities specifically for the CELTA trainees as well as computer labs throughout the school.
