What is CertTEFL?
CertTEFL is a Level 4 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language issued by EDI. It is designed to provide candidates with the skills they need for teaching English to adult students of other languages.

It is accredited by the Qualifi cations and Curriculum Authority (QCA). The QCA’s role is to regulate qualifications to ensure high standards are maintained. The accreditation of CertTEFL indicates that it has met the QCA’s requirements of quality, rigour and standards. This means that EDI’s CertTEFL shares the same accreditation status as Cambridge CELTA and Trinity CertTESOL qualifications.

What is EDI?
EDI is one of the UK’s top five awarding bodies. As a leading international awarding body EDI delivers LCCI International qualifications (LCCI IQ) through a network of over 4000 registered centres in more than 120 countries worldwide. LCCI qualifications are recognized by governments, universities and professional bodies all over the world.
