How to Store Luggage at Airports
By:Christina Dillon

Some airports offer a luggage storage service, which can be convenient if you have a layover and would like to leave the airport for sightseeing. Keep in mind, many airports do not offer storage, so call ahead before making any plans. Prepare a list of questions to ask the airport associate to avoid surprises on your day of travel.

Call the airport to find out whether they offer luggage storage. If they do, ask about storage fees, location and hours of operation.

Arrive at the airport with your luggage and make your way to the appropriate terminal. Confirm rates and hours of operation with the associate at the storage facility.

Give your luggage to the associate and take a luggage ticket. Return to the same facility when you are ready to pick up your luggage. Hand the ticket to the associate and pay the storage fee to retrieve your luggage.
