Just because you can never know what might happen on a ski track, a safety kit is highly advised. It doesn’t have to be big and filled with unnecessary stuff however bandages and painkillers are compulsory. Skiing is a dangerous sport that will cause inevitable leg pains or bruises and that’s why it’s better to stay safe. Make sure to take some medicinal alcohol and a special gel for joint pains as well.

• Make a list
A ski vacation can be really demanding and the best way to have everything organized is to make a list. Write down all the necessary things you have to take with you, don’t forget about the food and the gear, and ultimately feel free to take some extra stuff as well like sun cream, ski glasses, gloves, ski socks, goggles and so on. Last but not least, don’t forget your documents and reservations.

• Winter clothes and shoes
Try not to take only big sweaters with you because they won’t keep you warm. One big blouse is not enough to make you feel comfortable. Take some t-shirts as well because the body needs extra layers of clothes as well in order to feel warm. Additionally, don’t forget about proper shoes and avoid sneakers because they’re not water proof.

• Orientation equipment
Ski tracks can be extremely wide and confusing sometimes. Depending on your ski destination and resort dimensions, you’ll want to know where you are every step of the way. A GPS is recommended because it will make sure you don’t get lost; furthermore, you can also opt for maps whenever you want to go hiking.

• Luggage option
Ski vacations are all about big sweaters, hats and mufflers. That’s why people think that they need extra luggage to take with them. But if you learn how to prioritize, you’ll immediately realize that it’s way better to take only necessary stuff. Usually, backpacks are the best because they’re practical and spacious.

• Ski equipment check-up
No winter ski vacation can be complete without proper ski equipment. Whether you’re a professional skier or a beginner, equipment check-up is elementary. Choose to prevent any kind of accident on the tracks and remember to fasten your belts. In case you rent the equipment, remember to also check for defects and abnormal joints.
