Travel Tips

Airline Carry on Luggage
By:Tom Tessin

When it comes time to travel at the airport nowadays, it's important that you look into purchasing some carry on luggage. It's not only going to save you money at the check in gate, you're going to be able to know where your clothes and belongings are at all points. Sure, you're restricted to how much you can bring, but if you're only going to be gone 3-4 days, I highly recommend you look into bringing carry on luggage onto the plane.

With so many airlines charging a checked in luggage fee of $15 both ways, that can get pretty expensive. I look at this way in that I can travel three times and that's enough for me to purchase a carry on luggage set already. The only time I will check in my luggage is if I'm going to be gone for more than five days or so. As I already mentioned, carry on luggage is only going to allow you stuff so much into it. I've found that I was only able to place about three to four days worth of clothes.

When it comes to luggage, you have to keep in mind that airlines have a restriction with these bags. They can only be so big and if they are over the requirements, you'll be asked to check it in. Usually at the airport, they will have a designed box that you can place your bag into. If the bag doesn't fit into it, you won't be able to bring it on. This is why it's important to buy one that's regulated. As long as you get a regulated bag, you won't have any troubles in terms of buying a bag and having it denied at the gate.
