In most places the basic requirements for teaching are a degree plus a certificate, however not having a degree does not always prevent one from teaching and there are many teachers in China , Vietnam , Philippines , Thailand and Indonesia that have been able to find employment without a degree.

However much depends on the individual schools. You should also bear in mind that wherever you go the less you are asked in terms of qualifications, the less you'll get paid and the more unreliable your contract will be.
