Hi Pasquale,
Firstly if your English is good enough you can get work teaching English. It will be harder but it's certainly not impossible. Are you near-native or bilingual? If you can describe yourself like that on your CV it will help a lot.
Of course the more you can do to help, the better. This means qualifications are essential and you should certainly take a TEFL course.
And finally, I would certainly think it worthwhile to send your CV out. If you apply to a hundred schools and jobs online then sooner or later a good job will turn up. Especially as China is crying out for English teachers.
