TESOL, TEFL and CELTA forum
Hi John,
I am almost done with a Master Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Nova Southeastern University. It has been a great program, but it has not been easy. It will have taken about 2 years, but I could only take one class at a time using the GI Bill since leaving the military. I am now in Bogota, Colombia, so as you can see the flexibility is great. As I mentioned previously, the classes can be challenging but very useful for higher level theory as well as day-to-day application. The school also has a very good reputation in Florida as well as around the U.S. In Latin America, our schools are not as well known, but with a Masters Degree you can teach at the college level. I hope that helps!
Ryan
