Re Have you seen an Advert offering you work in the United Kingdom?

Unbelievable Steve, I just got home tonight and found another message from Luis Pinto, but this time a hotmail address instead of English Universal. I asked him for a web cam conversation and he ignored me the first time. So tonight I just replied and asked how the weather was in Nigeria. They don't even keep track of who they tried to scam before. Crazy, It seems these scams have a pattern to them.

Re Have you seen an Advert offering you work in the United Kingdom?

I also received this information and a job offer from Luis Pinto and it sounded to good to be true. He just sent me a contract to sign, and to this date hasn't asked me to send or pay for anything, however after reading this post I won't be talking more to him. I'm a Canadian currently working in Brazil and he offered to pay for everything. After asking why he didn't contract someone in England he said because of tax reasons. I also asked him to have at least a phone conversation and he didn't respond to that. It sounds like a scam to me.

Re Have you seen an Advert offering you work in the United Kingdom?

Pretend Luis, the "engineer", is most likely not from Chile, but a scammer from Lagos, Nigeria!

Delete this unsolicited rubbish mail,nd do not reply!

Re: Re Have you seen an Advert offering you work in the United Kingdom?

You asked for a "webcam conversation with him and his family": That's a good test!
Thanks for mentioning it.

Re Have you seen an Advert offering you work in the United Kingdom? (Border Agency, Western Union, England, fake tutor job)

I got one from a Luis Pinto Engineer from Chile, and a Scot Marchbank supposedly at the UK Border Agency in Sheffield telling me to send a Western Union to myself in Manchester England, the job sounded to good to be true. Of course they wanted my passport figured they would make up a fake one with a different picture and collect the money. The amount needed kept going down as I said I didn't have money to pay, he asked me to borrow from a bank or friends for a loan, and he promised to pay me a month in advance. The supposed Pinto sent me a picture of his family and having friends from Chile they could have been people from Chile. The real tip off was when I asked if I could have a webcam conversation with him and his family, no response. Then I told him I was going to send an e mail to the Border Agency and verify if there was a Scot Marchbank, they did have the official application of the Border Agency but anyone can download that. That was the end and he said he would cancel my application and look for someone else, I told him that was okay.
I doubted a family in England would look for a foreign English teacher as I have worked with people from England teaching English. Anybody can go on these employment websites and get your name and e mail, I think these scams will get more involved as we figure it out. If you check the Border Agency website you see that a lot of things don't match.
