Re: Rubbish from pretend "Dr. Diaz" - a scam!

This is quite a scam.

Luckily I have already secured another job for September. But this guy kept on sending emails with his enticing offers. I googled him a while back and didn't find anything. I tried again today and this came up. Wow.

He goes to such lengths. I have pictures of him and his supposed wife and kids.

He mentions the weather and time of day in every email. (probably because others have asked him and he thinks he is refining his scam art now)

He asked me what religion I was and went on and on about him and his family going to church on sunday. lmao

I hope by replying to this it will show up even more in search queries when his other potential victims try to google him. (I figure that why I saw it this time.)

I knew it felt wrong. I mean 5,500GBP / month?

I didn't think the scam was in the visa acquisition though, I thought I would just be physically tortured when I got there :s

Heads up people! If it sounds to good to be true...IT IS!

Re: Rubbish from pretend "Dr. Diaz" - a scam! (fake tutor job)

I have been getting a ton of these scam emails from "Dr.'s" lately but the last name changes. I emailed the first one and asked why would you want to pay relocation costs and Visa expenses to bring someone from the United States when there are so many qualified English people in England who all speak English? They spawned the language. He replied that there was someone in the position now but he was going to be let go so he wanted to bring someone in from another country. This makes NOOOOO sense whatsoever! I was waiting for him to ask me for my bank information so he could send me money for my relocation expenses! LOL!!! I also noticed that the name he used slightly changed.......if you're a doctor, which means you're probably over 30.....this means you've been writing your name for 25 years. How would you make an error when writing it?!

Re: Rubbish from pretend "Dr. Diaz" - a scam! (fake tutor job)

I, too, received an invitation from this supposed doctor to teach his wife and kids. I went with it thinking that perhaps it was a wonderful opportunity, until the attorney, a "Mr. Richard Henrick" wrote to me and sent me the official .pdf file which stated that I had to show proof of deposits made to the U.K. in the form of 1000 GBP in my name. His English use was atrocious and this is what caused the greatest suspicion for me. I then went to the Embassy in the U.K. and presented them with all of this and they told me that it was a scam. I did ask why they felt the need to solicit someone from overseas, like there were not any schools present in the U.K. for this sort of thing. They ignored my question. I also asked how he could afford to pay such a sum of money for a salary, a flat, and the use of a car. This too, was ignored. The real requirements from what I gathered from my research, are that you be able to show that you have 3 months worth of a suitable balance in a U.K. bank, and barring said balance and the official bank statement from said bank, you are not in compliance with the immigration regulations set up for acquiring any visa at all!! If you look carefully, there is not any visa available for an English teacher to get a visa. You are correct at balking at such elaborate ruses to part you from your money. I told them both, that if this is a legitimate offer, then they will pull the required balance of 1000 GBP to be collected at Heathrow Airport in my name, then I and this Dr. Diaz would collect it together once I arrived at the airport to the nearest Western Union kiosk. That way, I was ensured of a timely pick up at the airport, and that none of my own money would be required to fulfill this supposed requirement.

When I was trying to determine the validity of what he was proposing, I asked him questions about the weather and got vague responses. I reported him to the FBI on White Collar crimes division. It is something that seems to be going around. I have had two other job offers with similar requirements and the last came to me two days ago from a "Dr. Isadore Adonis". He was offering the same sort of thing with nearly an identical job prospectus. Another one was from a "Dr. George McGee". I have since shut all of them up in asking them for bona fide credentials like, ( apostilled degrees, and diplomas, Passports and information pages, a copy of their visas, and of course a driver's license"). When I asked this last charlatan for credentials I was introduced to that scam from "Dr. Henry Richards, Ph.D." and now thanks to this website, I know better than to waste my time with any of it.

Rubbish from pretend "Dr. Diaz" - a scam! (fake tutor job, England)

Dear pretend "Dr Diaz",

your unsolicited mail has reached my desk, and honestly, I am a bit puzzled:

Are you really in need of an ESl instructor for your kids in the UK and would therefore need to "import" a suitably qualified person from abroad?

So, have they given up speaking English in the UK as a first language over night like that? Sounds very strange and weird...

I can't believe that anyone could be that stupid to fall victim to this very apparent scam offer. But you must think that other people reading your rubbish must be as stupid - bad luck, dear pretend "Dr. Diaz"!

If you were really in need of scamming an ESL instructor, why don't you ask for help in the police department next door? They'll have nice free room ready for you with closed windows and locked doors.

Regards,
T. T.
