Re: Re SCAM ALERT!

If you post here the email addresses, and any other contact info, that were provided by the first contact, it will help future would-be victims to find your post after a google search.

Re SCAM ALERT!

I was contacted Mr. Syed Mahmood and offered a job as a private tutor In UK, Manchester. We had exchanged emails professionally until the contract signing then was asked to contact:

DIR.CHRISTOPHER BINGHAM
E-Mail: chrisbingchembers@lawyer.com
Tel: +447045707672
Fax: 447045758763

for visa which indicates not I will not be paying anything which had been agreed upon. However, I was asked the same thing which I need to have a BTA/SAT send and receive from my name? That made me having second thoughts.

Please help.

Right now, I am not processing anything as well as sending documents o him. I have checked IP addresses an emails and found out that this Bingham is from Nigeria, as for Mr. Mahmood from USA. This doesn't make sense informing me that Mr. Mahmood an industrialist in UK.

What are your thoughts about this?

Thanks!

Re: Re SCAM ALERT!

I don't think there is any Jin Chen Tao. These scams are often done - not always but often - out of an internet cafe in Lagos, Nigeria.

It was the same situation with me. he found me throw TESOL course and asked to work with his family for a year. Because his children and his wife don't speak English.

He is gonna provide the own flat for me and pay every month 5000 pounds. which is crazy and unbelievable!

Guys, be careful!! And also if you check his phone number it is the number of company.

I won't never send to him £900. Fuck off, Jin Chen Tao!

Re: SCAM ALERT!

Thank you for warning other teachers. If you post the email addresses that these scammers were using, it will help other teachers find your post because most people use email addresses as key words when they do a search.
Glad you did not send money.

SCAM ALERT!

Jin Chen Tao Family.
10 Crompton street Bury,
greater Manchester BL9 0AD
United Kingdom.

Found me through TEFL.net offered a sweet job in Manchester. Who wants to go to Manchester right? You would, if they offered you a free place to stay, £5000/month and two weeks summer and winter holidays!

He works with Mr. Crammer Cohen, a really shady ''lawyer'' sent me weird pictures of himself. Check the pictures out!

They have been working this scam for quite some time. They have a contract they make you sign and then ask you to wire some £900 through money gram to yourself to process the work permit. Not getting a cent from me!

Its quite sad actually!
