Yes, I am a tutor and received this email under Martin Norling. I am a law school student and this scam was very easy to spot like most other scams. I am still talking to him and had him send a picture of his "15 year old daughter". She looks like an island girl. So funny. Moreover, the address he gave me was the address of a community college close to where I live. I agree, thelack of good English is a red flag. There are so many other red flags, like mentioning my flat number, which we do not use flat number in America. I assume he is from Nigeria where most of these scams come from and living in Europe. Most of these people operate this way. Glad you did not fall to this scam.

Over the last couple of days, I have received the following e-mails from someone purporting to look for a tutor for his daughter (see below). I am extremely suspicious of these e-mails and thought I should report this. This person seems to have used two different names: Scott Holified and Martin Norland In addition, the e-mail from Scott Holifield is sent from an e-mail address with the name p.lawson. The standard of English used in these e-mails is extremely poor and I suspect the writer's first language is not English. At the same time, the names used are English. Has anyone else received such e-mails? If so, please be careful as I think that this is most likely to be a scam.
