Greeting!

i received the same e.mail just a couple days ago. As what all of you did, i send my resume and my recent picture. At first i am afraid already to be fooled like this. Scam offer is every where but for a jobless person like me, their offer is very attractive. i Had a difficulty in calling their given numbers since i don't have available resources here. i received two different email from different employer. So sad to know why there are people like this.

"Dr. Kuang Jia Hui" in fact may not even be Chinese; if you looked at the scammer's face and heard his voice, it might well be someone who does not look "Asian" at all ... perhaps a bit like my big beasts that are swimming in my pond..LOL

Hello all together!

Dr. Kuang Jiahui has an additional e-mail address: kuangjiahui1@gmail.com.
I was stupid enough to believe him during the first e-mails. Goodness me, I should have checked his name in Google first.
I have sent him my resume and some other documents as pdf.-file. I just hope very much that nothing evil will happen.
Cheers, Ti'otala

drkunagjiahui@yahoo.com, 1 Penton Rise London

Beware of this email address to a scam - drkunagjiahui@yahoo.com. He had a strange accent on the phone, not a Chinese one and would not meet with my husband who was in London at the time and who checked out 1 Penton Rise London and found the building to appear to be used as student flats, certainly not suitable for a medical doctor. He got my email from a post of the Korean Teachers Job Board on eslcafe.com so that also is a concern. How do we stop this organisation which seems to morph into whoever and whatever they feel like being and whenever?

Dr Kuang Jiahui of B252 Paul Robeson House, 1 Penton Rise, London. WC1X9EH phone +447024028273 email address drkuangjiahui@yahoo.com is a complete fake. My husband was in London and checked him out (he was not available and the call was forwarded to someone else who answered with a strange accent but would not meet face-to-face.) My husband then checked out the 1 Penton Rise and it turned out to be a block of student flats. DO NOT BELIEVE THIS JOB OFFER.

Re: Re esl teacher - 3500GBP - (fake tutor job, visa, England)

Let us look a bit of the wording that indicate such a mail to be a scam:

Dear Teacher,
How are you doing today?hope that you are doing good.
I have attached the CONTRACT AGREEMENT LETTER,go ahead and read it then sign. You
will be sending me a copy and also a copy to the immigration
Lawyer, then you are going to keep a copy as well.My immigrations
Lawyers e mail is on the contract,go ahead and contact him,i already
informed him about you.

Genuine employers hiring foreign staff or faculty are most unlikely to hire a lawyer. Too expensive, and they would only need to do so if there was an issue that makes employment of foreigners illegal. The latter is either illegal or not. Which employer would take the trouble to fight a case in court before employing a foreigner? That's just rubbish!

He will be in charge of all your necessary
documentation including your working permit and the rest of your
paperwork.Go ahead and email him and he will get everything started
with you.

Sounds as if the prospective employee was promised paradise instead of work. A highly contradictory statement, and absolutely unprofessional for a real employer to say such a thing!

This pretend lawyer will then charge you for his "services", and the pretend "lawyer" himself is the same person that had sent this scam mail.

Once again we are looking forward seeing you here and you
should be rest assured once again that your comfort will never be a
problem and do send me a number to give you a call OK.

Sounds like talking to a customer, which employer would write such a thing to a future employee abroad?

Make sure you
have a wonderful day ahead of you and remain bless

Chinese employers would never wish anyone "remain bless"; as a rule, they are non-religious people.

Catch these scammers by their wording!

Re English Teacher 4,500 GBP kimlee@london.com (Border Agency, Western Union, fake teaching job, England)

Good day to you.I have received the completed forms.
All your Certificate are currently been reviewed as well and i will be giving you a feedback on them soon as well.
There are other requirements to be met by you and your employer,They include
1. (a) The payment of your one way Flight Ticket Fee from Tampa International Airport to Norwich, England, UK (NWI) by you or your employer but your employer has promised to shoulder the cost.
(b) Deposit of your first month salary to UK Border Agency, GBP4500.00GBP by your employer which you will be receiving upon your arrival to the UK.It is a requirement meant to solidify the agreement between you and your employer and to show that your employer will be truly be the one to take up your responsibilities when you get here.

2.a. The payment of your application fee which is GBP205.00 and processing fee of GBP85.00

b. The payment of the courier fee for the shipment of your documents to your address once they are ready which is GBP90.00
c. You will also be needing to show BANK STATEMENTS OR WESTERN UNION SHOW OF FUNDS.
If you will be showing your BANK STATEMENT,you must submit a recent bank statement that has a balance of 7,000GBP and a good flow transaction been made on the account to show that you have some money on your possession and as proof of sufficient funds available for your trip/maintenance requirement.
If you will be doing a WESTERN UNION SHOW OF funds,You will be taking a friend or relative to any western union outlet nearby you,to send just 800GBP to YOUR NAME and the SENDING TO location will be ENGLAND.Once your visa has been processed, you will be notified and you can pick the money upon your arrival to the UK or after your WORKING PERMIT is ready, which i will notify you.Just make sure the funds is sent to YOUR NAME.This is just to make sure that you have that kind of money in your possession as well and i believe it is easier than the Bank Statements as well.To verify Bank statements takes up to some times and since your employer wants your papers ready quick, your visa processor suggest that you do the show of fund through the Western Union or money gram which will be easier to verify and less funds will be shown. It is the receipt that you will scan and email to me to verify for instant verification.
The illustration is explained below.

Sender name..Your Friend or any of your relative
Receivers name..Your name
Sending to country.ENGLAND
amount..800GBP

Your visa processing officer made me realize that this method that he chooses for you is the easiest way of getting all your papers ready including your working permit ready as soon as possible and that it is not available to most applicant,it is the influence and request of your EMPLOYER to get all your papers ready without any delay whatsoever that made the option available to you.The reason for long verification on Bank Statements is sometimes caused by applicant manipulating figures on there bank account, which has now been a policy from the HOME OFFICE to ensure proper verification whenever a BANK STATEMENTS has been submitted.

Your documents will be ready 7-14 days after I receive the forms, the necessary fees from your employer and the deposit receipt from you. Once its ready, I will book your flight and send it to you together with your work permit through DHL courier delivery.Go ahead and have the ITINERARY reviewed.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Yours Sincerely

Has your friend paid anything? If not, there is nothing to really worry about. These guys are just plain stupid, with a bit of common sense you can immediately identify them on the phone for what they are - crooks!

Re Nanny, 500 GBP, jsheen.ukba@rocketmail.com, and dr.fengfamily@googlemail.com (fake tutor job, England)

This is a very popular scam!
I receive emails like this almost every day, except for ESL teaching.
It's the same details too, like, my family is "my treasure" that's why I will pay you way more than anyone else would ever offer! And the car on top of it all is another detail that made me delete these messages immediately.

I feel terrible for those who do get caught up in these scams, I''m happy for you that you where able to avoid getting caught.

The biggest red flag (in my situation regarding ESL teaching) was that this man moves with his family from China to the UK, the home of the English language, and wants to pay for me to move from Canada to teach his wife and children English. If you're living in England I'm pretty sure you can find someone to teach English!!! DELETE!

Anyway, my point is that people who have encountered things like this should promote awareness and caution as much as possible because there are some really great legitimate opportunities out there and it would be sad to see people turned off of the experiences by one of the millions of scams out there!

Here's an example of one of the many such emails I've received:

Dear applicant,

I am Dr. Shing Han a native of Changchun City in Jilin Province of P. R. of China. I worked with Central Hospital of Changchun City before I relocated to Wiltshire, England a month ago and right now, I am in search of a professional International English Language teacher who can take my Wife, Chan and my 2 kids, Heng and Hui in English classes.

My wife and Kids are my treasure so I offer to pay you 3,000.00GBP if you will take up this position. I will provide you an Accommodation, furnished with a Plasma TV, and Internet Ready desktop computer. A vehicle will be available also for Mobility if you can Drive.

I need your updated resume for me to discuss more about you with my family and also talk to your references. Applicant Must be willing to relocate to England.
Hoping to hear from you soonest, Cheers and God's blessings

I am really nervous because I myself almost got caught in this scam and a friend of mine did and unfortunately I can't get in touch with him to let him know what the deal is. I am trying to figure out what is in it for them. I have talked to Western Union and they assure me that if it isn't not ME with Photo ID then the money isn't given out... so I am a little confused as to how they get the money? Can anyone answer? And can anyone let me know who to contact? My "dr" guy was Shing Han, and when I confronted him with info that I found out and figured out for myself, also info that my cousin, a detective in the area I was going to be, not one word since. I have also received the same kind of email from a Dr. Daisuke Kaito this time. I think this person changes his name from time to time but uses the same email and contract format. This time he is from Shropshire, England. I have some friends based in London and I asked them to contact this person with these numbers he gave me.

+44 (0) 702 4070868
+447024075813 or
+447024055905

My friend told me that she tried calling these numbers but couldn't make any connections. I became suspicious after this. One thing I've learned about this experience, if it is too good to be true, it must be false.

Hope we could warn as many people as we can so that they wouldn't be able to victimize anyone. One thing to look out into a possible scam is when the employer or the lawyer asks for a visa processing fee. According to the british embassy facebook website in my country, visa fee should be paid in your home country and not the country where you choose to work in. I attached here pictures of the apartment he said I will stay in. I wonder if any of you here was sent the same pictures.

WOW I'm so glad to see all these posts! I got this email today ("Dr Kim Lee, Chinese, relocated to Norfolk" etc) and I thought it sounded too good to be true - I mean he was offering 4.500 GBP per month for goodness sake! - but I was still trying to convince myself that it was a good idea to move to England with the prospect of that kind of money. Luckily I decided to do some research first and found these scam alerts before I sent my CV through - phew! I have been job-hunting so I'm not sure I would have realised this was a scam had I not looked the man up on Google. Thanks for alerting everyone, my only hope is that no-one gets too fooled by this, but what I don't get is: why would he scam in the first place? What's in it for him??

Yes I have had the same scam ... but was suspicious from the word go and immediately thought it was Nigerians... I dont believe anyone who offers employment from a gmail, yahoo etc account. This guy's email is kaemon.machiko705@googlemail.com.

I got the same introductory email, a phone call with no visible number, the guy had a funny accent and spoke so fast I couldnt hear what he was saying, I go a similar contract but this guy is "Japanese" and his 'name' is Dr Kaemon Machiko and he claims to be the Chief Medical Director of Continental Corporation and lives in Telford, Shropshire. His immigration lawyer is "Diana Simons" dsimons@ukbahomeofficegov.co.uk

I received the contract today and the signatures don't match the names at all! Really Nigerians are ostracizing themselves from the West with their deviance.

Where can I send this information to so they can investigate it?

This guy emailed me claiming to be a Chinese man working in the UK. His name is Dr. Feng Jun. I believed him and was sending in the documents. would be paying you 500 GBP weekly throughout the duration of your stay with us.

We shall make available a vehicle for you to use if you can drive,We
would also pay your travel expenses. Our only son means so much to us
hence we are offering this salary so that you can put in your best
while taking care of him. We would like to know when you can be
available because we would like an aupair that can start as soon as
possible.

Please e mail me if you would like to discuss the position with us,
while you send your picture and introduction about yourself.
Thanks and looking forward to your response.

esl teacher - 3500GBP - geemcgeorge@googlemail.com (fake tutor job, England, visa)

Dr Gerald McGeorge is an American doctor, married to a Vietnamese with a little girl of 9. Both wife and daughter can't speak English. Moved to Plymouth, Devon 3 months ago and need someone to teach them English. Free accomodation, 300 GBP Medical Insurance p/m, 4 weeks payed leave, etc. He sent me photos of his very beloved wife and step daughter as well as the guest house. The contract was drawn up by his attorney Agent Paul Lippet of the UK Border Agency. PO Box 3468, Sheffield, UK. DR George's address is : 7 Crownhill Fort Road, Plymouth, Devon. Tel +44 (0) 7031911073. I didn't know about the scams going and I, unfortunately sent my full cv and copies of certificates through, so that he can discuss it with his attorney. He refused to meet with my brother that is currently in London. He sent me a copy of his passport and even the passport is for REAL. What can they do with all my personal info? It scares the daylight out of me!
