Each religion likes to have their own book, but my view on it is this, the bible and the quran are both ancient books, and I have looked at both. What I don't understand is when jehovahs witnesses and mormons each claim that their own book is the one they believe in. But, hang on, I thought there was only one bible, only one book contained the word of god? How can you have a book that was published in the 19th century, but written in 16th century language?(Richard Dawkins mentions that point on a clip on youtube). Good discussion, not really sure it has anything to do with EFL, but still interesting.
