Note that I love Israel and support it 100%!
Seemingly, America's attitude to Israel is not as supportive as it used to be. Anyway, that might not be of much significance.
Given your attitude towards Israel, I think you should happily go there as a kibbutz volunteer. You should look into the possibility of your being accepted as one!
