I havent been to this thread in a while but a friend of mine who is considering this school had something happen to him that was fairly similar to the second post. No open spot, then an open spot, he replies to take it, they say its already been filled, on and on. So I wanted to give him this link to show him the thread. Then I saw this post and I had to laugh a little. No chrissy and I are not the same person, we have never met, and i wouldnt know her on the street. She sent me an email answering a few questions about the school but thats about it. I also recieved a couple from Drew. I have since decided that not going might be a wise choice. After reading this post and hearing from my friend it seems that this is standard procedure from them...tell you there is nothing to get you to pay...realize you arent going to pay...offer sponsorship...you get excited about going...they yank sponsorship in hopes that you will pay anyway...you tell them to forget it...they offer sponsored spot again...and the saga continues. I would advise anyone who wants to be a legitimate teacher in a foreign country to avoid this school and any other that seems shady. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, its probably a duck. Thank you to the people that answered my questions and put up with my lack of knowledge. ~Lia
