First things first, I highly recommend not working at this school. My treatment whilst there was the worst I have experienced at any Academy. I was fired in my first week for being ill! I needed Hospital treatment and instead of receiving support I was fired, I needed a week to recover from my illness and was not even allowed that. I was left without a job in Logrono at the start of the academic year and had just signed for an apartment. They offered very little help with accommodation in the first place and after being fired for being ill I was told I should contact a woman in a different city entirely, for a job, even though the boss was aware I had a new apartment, that I needed to pay rent for.

That was my experience and after I was fired I stayed in touch with another teacher who left before Easter having started in October. The boss had lost some business and as a result had wanted to change her contract to pay her less and to work less despite paying very little in the first place. This coupled with trips to the Union due to late payments as well as altercations/ arguments with members of staff and unprofessional management practices caused her to leave. However this is second hand information and I did not see this myself.

Luckily I worked hard and found some more work in the city and left in June but again I highly recommend not working for this school in Logrono.
