Hi, my name is Eric and I've been a VIP teacher for one year. I can only speak from my own experience...I have never been happier in my life! The company has been very reasonable and fair with me. They've given me raises and promotions. We have a very diversified group of teachers. The kids are great!

I think a lot of the criticism here is coming from people who've never taught for the company and people who weren't hired by the company. Hiring is an inexact science...some poor teachers sometimes get hired, some potentially good ones get passed over (which is regrettable). While someone may be a very experienced teacher, it doesn't necessarily mean they'd be a good VIPKID teacher. Teaching Chinese kids is very different than teaching English speakers...it involves different teaching techniques and personality traits (many which I've had to learn).

Anyway, that's my experience. Nothing's perfect but I highly recommend VIP to those who are looking for this type of experience. Please let me know if you have any questions...you'll get very straight answers.
