SCHOOLS AND RECRUITERS REVIEWS

I agree with this. I have a TESL Post-graduate certificate from Canada. After receiving a great review after my interview (a bit too positive) and completed all of the training (they require you to literally watch 20 videos) I had my practicum. I received positive and negative feedback, and was told I required a second practicum. Then I was told I improved during the second practicum, so I assumed everything went well. The employee told me I will receive an email about when I can begin teaching. To my surprise, the email I received said I was "unsuccessful" and the contract is cancelled. There was no explanation as to what the problem was.

Don't waste your time - it was a complete waste of time for me, the entire process almost a month long, only to find out I am without a contract. As other people have commented on, they are very strict with scheduling classes. I don't know what they are looking for but probably young teachers who want to sing songs all day.
