In response to Re ENFLY PLACEMENT in Chengdu (ANALYSER)

The Associate Chinese professor at that Qingdao university will receive his salary during the
whole calendar year.

By contrast, Enfly FTs don't get paid their teaching salary during the major holiday
period between the 2 semesters they've signed up to teach for.

As far as I'm aware so far, we were first given our September months bursary on 15th October, and will continue to be paid monthly around the 15th the following month until the 15th June, which will also cover the 15 days of June.
We get holiday allowance 2000/3000RMB for Spring festival and the Summer Holiday respectively.

FTs who get jobs either direct-hire, or through a Chinese recruiter, will almost always get
paid their teaching salary during said major holiday period!

To the best of my knowledge, working through direct hire is illegal, at least in Sichuan province. But either way, Enfly pays too.

Teaching for Enfly is worse than using a Chinese recruiter to get you a job unless you are
one of those foreign teachers who wishes the same Chinese teaching assistant present
during your every class.

I respect your opinion, but in my personal experience, each of my 8 grade 7 classes had a different teaching assistant, the attendance of whom depleted proportionally as my ability to consistently teach in accordance with the schools expectations increased.
My grade 8 classes were solo from the beginning, which was fine since the English ability of the students was higher.
Either way, having a Chinese teaching assistant is hardly a negative- some teachers may feel performance pressure, but personally, I found it was nice to have someone to give me feedback after the lessons, and it was a good way of getting around the language barrier initially when I wanted to describe and activity to the students (Ting budong).

If Enfly doesn't provide a teaching assistant, there will be no incentive for such a foreign
teacher to work for that agent for what is, in effect, a BASEMENT employment
package!

Sorry, I disagree, and I don't know what a basement employment package is, however, there are plenty of incentives to work for Enfly-
-Paid Accommodation (worth ~1500RMB/month).
-Competitive bursary in line with local cost of living (roughly 2-3000RMB above the average wage).
-Dedicated, friendly and helpful support staff available when you need them.
-The job itself is a dream; sociable working hours, minimal stress, the joy of teaching. Any problems are resolved by Enfly/the school.
-Annual flight allowance (5000RMB, which will cover your return flight after 2 years if that's your goal).
-(This is more about China) You have a new hub in SEA, think of the (cheap)travel possibilities outside of term time! (Which is literally months of time, because you're a teacher!)
-No worrying about legal/visa issues, Enfly sorts this all out so that it's totally legit.
-They help you set up a bank account, mobile phone/SIM, give you a week/fortnight to acclimatize before beginning the training.
-If there's an issue with the school, they can sort it out and get you a new one/resolve your issues; these guys are flexible!
-Paid Christmas party/trips. It feels like a family, which I'd imagine most would appreciate since China is quite far from 'home'.
